Bolton Digital members had a fascinating insight into the potential of drones at our meeting on 2nd May.
Pete Reavell, a local photographer, gave a talk about the work he has done with drones on architecture, landscape and similar shoots, in both still photography and video work. The results were most impressive. In addition, he explained how he had learned the technology of digital photography by teaching himself to use an SLR, from which he learned how to set up the drone camera for greatest effect.
Of course, we were all itching to see the drone in action, and before the light faded, we went outside and had a demonstration in the garden. Of course, the drone was watching us as well!
